The most precious resource is time. When you’re looking at 100% of your work that you’re doing, if those tasks that you’ve put into your “delegate and elevate” tool, take you beyond what is literally your 100% capacity, then you’ve got to delegate.

Kerry talks about all the reasons that people give for not delegating and I’m sure that we’ve all been guilty of this. I certainly have. People say many things such as “being good at this got me to where I am in the first place”, or “it takes too much time for me to train someone”. But, think about all the other things you could do, if you did delegate.
