Transcript:
Looking at capacity in terms of emotion, we’re looking at the heart. Can you walk a mile in their shoes? Are you open and honest? Can you be real? Can you connect with your people? Emotional capacity is about being humble, confident and self-aware.
The intellectual capacity is about having the brains to be able to actually do the job at hand. Are you a critical thinker? Can you be detailed enough? Can you think about the what if situation? Can you plan something out and explain it properly?
The physical stamina is about having enough energy to keep yourself going and the tenacity to push that bit more when it is needed. Are you capable of finishing what you started and doing that extra hour you need to do for the project to finish in time?
The time capacity side of things is about self-discipline and organisation. Can you prioritise things and be time efficient and effective? Can you avoid urgency and structure things out instead? Are you capable of delegating effectively?
All these questions, if you ask them, are what will give you the answer to show if your capable of being a great boss.
