Testimonials
“I sold my business two years ago, Kerry gave me invaluable advice on exiting, sale strategy and maximising the sale price. It would be fair to say that Kerry is a true expert on exiting, but also has a wealth of experience with businesses large and small and truly understands the challenges facing owners. I recommend anyone in business to contact her now to start the journey as we will all exit at some point!”
“WOW, what a year it has been, I have gained so much knowledge from you this year and just wanted to reach out and let you know how much you have helped our business and life in general. We have huge plans over the next 5 years!”
“Many people may not know of Kerry Boulton’s volunteer work as a tireless supporter of Senior Football at “The Districts” (South Melbourne District Amateur Football Club), managing and running our canteen at all of our home games. She does this in addition to being the Secretary for the South Melbourne District Sports Club and Woolworths Junior & Master Cricket Blast admin/organiser in the summer. A lot of her work goes unnoticed, her work helps maintain a great offering of sport through the club and obviously a great canteen. Kerry ensures we maintain compliance to our council food health requirements and inspections, orders stock, picks and packs stock, makes sandwich fillings, picks up bread supplies game days, cooks, cleans, reconciles takings, banks and serves the punters each Saturday.
Kerry also draws on her wealth of experience at the club to advise the committee on operational matters, which is invaluable to a relatively new committee for Senior Football. She has been committed to making our club a better place since she joined some 22 years’ ago and we all enjoy the benefits. For this reason South Melbourne District Senior Football have struck, for the first time, a Volunteer of the Year Medal to be awarded to a member from Senior Football who contributes in the spirit of what Kerry has done for all these years. The award will be the Kerry Boulton Medal for Volunteer Of The Year, to be presented each year going forward.”
“Kerry, the senior business executives and owners from some of Victoria’s entrepreneurial companies have received amazing benefits as a result of the training and assistance you have given them. When I was speaking to one CEO of a high tech company on an unrelated matter, he told me he had seen the value of his investment returned many times over.
There is no doubt in my mind that you are making a valuable contribution to the personal growth and education of our Victorian business owners through the work that you do.
It has been many years since I first assisted you during your days at FMI, but through all of that time I have witnessed a woman imbued with a spirit of giving, who isn’t afraid to do the hard work to get the job done; and yet never loses sight of the most important aspects of life – the support and growth of others.
I hope that those people who surround you in your business and personal life acknowledge those qualities in you, as I have noticed, and do their best to repay you for some of the wonderful work that you do.”
“Kerry – thank you for the services you have provided in your capacity as director of Queen Victoria Market Pty Ltd and Melbourne Wholesale Fish Market Pty Ltd. The wealth of knowledge and experience you have contributed from a commercial business perspective has been invaluable to the operations of these companies.”
“What are the key questions someone will ask when they’re looking to take over your business? Understanding them and planning well in advance will make your prospects of a smooth exit much better!
Thanks to Kerry Boulton-Holdsworth from The Exit Strategy Group for her insights at February’s Business Value Partners event.”
“Kerry Boulton’s insight and experience has been of great value to our business. Her ability to personally connect with the key stakeholders was invaluable to the successful merger of our two businesses, setting us up for significant growth moving forward. Her ability to quickly understand our business and also to stay on top of the complexities of operating in a disruptive world is evident in the numerous and significant introductions she made, by tapping into her vast network. Personable and an excellent listener, also makes Kerry a great coach. I highly recommend Kerry.”
“Kerry Boulton has been invaluable to our business. She has amazing experience and insight, coupled with the ability to quickly grasp the fundamentals of any business challenge. Her preparatory work and ability to stay at the leading edge of technology have been fantastic foundations for our company as we have grown and expanded off shore and in our existing markets. Direct and reassuring, never pushy, a fantastic listener and decipher of the things that matter to businesses… repeatable processes, cash flow on the top line whilst keeping an eagle eye on the bottom line. Cannot recommend Kerry highly enough.”
“Over the 14 years I’ve been involved with Kerry through business, I’d have to say the impact Kerry’s had on our business has been fantastic. Kerry was involved with us in the education program in financial literacy for our employees in Colac and also spent some time with me on the Board of CMTP when we took over a major pallet and packaging business in Melbourne.
Two very different roles and both with very good outcomes. I don’t like to run a business without financial literacy knowledge and the way Kerry delivered on that made sure that our business stays at a high performance level.
On Kerry’s role on the Board, after taking over a business that needed a very good clean-up and change of direction, Kerry’s advice and support in that tough process was very valuable for us and I’m forever grateful for that.
Kerry in her own right has been a proven article in business and in a broad range of businesses as well. Her score is a very top score from me at any time.”
“I’ve been a friend and colleague of Kerry Boulton’s for the last 18 odd years. Kerry’s a very switched on lady… over the years we’ve taken a small football club into being the largest sports club in the City Of Port Phillip. The important things to do this were vision and planning, and Kerry’s skills in this area were absolutely first class.
A key component to the success… was to develop a succession plan and Kerry’s skills and rapport with people within the organisation were tremendous.”
“Kerry has been working with us for the last six months or so, all I can say is that we are very impressed, Kerry is the person who can help you get your business sale ready whether you plan to sell or not. We have been really impressed with the step by step program Kerry is taking us through. Kerry brings a wealth of experience and a wealth of connections that have already proved valuable. I can recommend Kerry to you.”
