Investors come in many shapes and sizes, they offer a cash injection to give your business the boost it’s looking for and can often come with expert advice and experience.
At this very second we are gearing up for one of the greatest transfers of wealth in our financial history as the baby boomers move into retirement age. This has been providing so many opportunities not only for business owners to prepare for their life after business but also for the fresh new younger blood to step in and take control of what could be their empire.
There is so much conversation in our media today with the shifting in the economy from a mining industry to a services industry, this is shown in the intergenerational report currently being promoted on television. We are also seeing tv shows like the ‘The Shark Tank’ being slotted in prime time showing new or existing businesses looking for smart investors to help take them to the next level.
It’s not hard to see there is a big change coming and the opportunities are up for grabs be it in the form of an exit strategy from a business or the beginning of a new one taking the reins.
